The multi-award-winning Konjac Sponge Company was founded in the UK over 10 years ago. Founders of the original Konjac Sponges, sponges made with the finest food grade pure Konjac fibre and nourishing mineral-rich extracts. Exclusively crafted by hand using nothing but 100% natural ingredients in the volcanic hills of Jeju Island in South Korea (a UNESCO world heritage protected site reported to have some of the purest water in the world). A company that is also proud to carry the Leaping Bunny and Vegan Society symbols.
The Korean shower and bath tool is made from the purest konjac plant root, and nourishing mineral extracts, avoiding all artificial ingredients. Biodegradable and compostable.
The Mandala French Pink Clay Konjac Body Sponge packaging is also completely biodegradable. Just like the sponge itself! The little window in the box is made from cellulose compostable materials. The box itself is made from FSC board.
French Pink Clay is the best ingredient for those suffering from the weather extremes of air conditioning, excess sun exposure, and central heating. Pure French Pink Clay gently purifies even the most sensitive skin and has a soothing, plumping effect to improve elasticity and refresh your skin’s appearance.
How to Use
Before use, rinse and hydrate your Konjac Sponge in warm water. Squeeze out any excess water and gently cleanse the skin. It is not necessary to use cleansing products, but a small amount can be added to your Konjac Sponge if desired. If a cleanser is added, the sponge will help the product work harder and go further.
The texture of the Konjac sponge once hydrated in water is pillow-soft, and totally safe to use for the whole family. After use, squeeze the sponge out and hang to dry (be careful not to wring it out as this may damage the delicate plant fibres). The better care you give the sponge the longer it lasts, which can be up to 3 months.
