Bain & Savon believe that all their products should be good for both us and the environment. They have created this 100% natural solid shampoo bar as part of their vegan skincare range of products.

The ingredients used in their skincare range are cruelty-free, vegan, natural, and 100% biodegradable. No parabens, no SLS, nor palm oil can be found in any of their products.

This 130g Solid Shampoo Bar is wrapped in a recycled cardboard box.

Transition Phase

When you first switch to Bain & Savon Solid Shampoo Bars, you may go through a ¨transition phase¨ when your hair may feel oily with a waxy residue. Here is how to prevent this from happening:

• Before Use: use a baking soda rinse once before you start using the shampoo bar; dissolve one tablespoon of baking soda in one litre of warm water; pour over wet hair; DO NOT RINSE OFF; proceed with the shampoo bar.
• How to Use: lather the shampoo bar in your hands and apply the foam to your hair and wash as you would with a liquid shampoo. Rinse and repeat.
• After Use: you may need a vinegar rinse to help balance the PH: mix one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, or one teaspoon of citric acid, with 500ml of water, and put in an aluminium spray bottle; after washing, spray over hair and roots, leave for 1-2 minutes then rinse well.

Care

Bain & Savon Solid Shampoo Bars have no chemical preservatives. So it is best to keep them dry on a well-drained surface between uses. A wooden soap dish with open slats or drainage holes is perfect.

Allergens: Citral, Geraniol, Linalool. Limonene occurs naturally in essential oils.
