The multi-award-winning Konjac Sponge Company was founded in the UK over 10 years ago. Founders of the original Konjac Sponges, sponges made with the finest food grade pure Konjac fibre and nourishing mineral-rich extracts. Exclusively crafted by hand using nothing but 100% natural ingredients in the volcanic hills of Jeju Island in South Korea (a UNESCO world heritage protected site reported to have some of the purest water in the world). A company that is also proud to carry the Leaping Bunny and Vegan Society symbols.
The Korean shower and bath tool is made from the purest konjac plant root, and nourishing mineral extracts, avoiding all artificial ingredients. Biodegradable and compostable.
The Mandala French Red Clay Konjac Body Sponge packaging is also completely biodegradable. Just like the sponge itself! The little window in the box is made from cellulose compostable materials. The box itself is made from FSC board.
The Konjac Body Sponge deeply cleanses and gently exfoliates the skin. The result: renewed radiance, improved circulation, and the appearance of wrinkles is reduced. The sponge supplies the skin with increased moisture and is beneficial for sun-damaged skin, stretch marks, and spider veins.
Use daily for gentle exfoliation, helping to prevent ingrown hairs, prepping the skin for shaving or waxing, and ensuring a great cleanse and healthy skin, as well as making your shower gel work harder and go further.
How it Works
French Red clay contains a high content of iron oxide that improves the skin’s circulation, giving it renewed radiance. It is also naturally rich in trace elements, effectively cleansing the skin and removing any dead skin cells for wonderfully soft skin.
How to Use
Before use, rinse and hydrate your Konjac Sponge in warm water. Squeeze out any excess water and gently cleanse the skin. It is not necessary to use cleansing products, but a small amount can be added to your Konjac Sponge if desired. If a cleanser is added, the sponge will help the product work harder and go further.
After use, squeeze the sponge out and hang to dry (be careful not to wring it out as this may damage the delicate plant fibres). The better care you give the sponge the longer it lasts, which can be up to 3 months.
